Jossi Design has been awarded the tender for the renovations of the existing offices of Umgeni Water in Pietermaritzburg. We are very excited about this new project, we had some amazing ideas and designs we submitted in our tender and these have now been approved by Umgeni Water.

The above photo shows the existing entrance of the building. The reception area will be part of Phase 2 of the project. Phase 1 (where we will start work) will be a renovation of the first floor area.

There are many wonderful waiting areas within the building that need to be redesigned and decorated to incorporate a more contemporary feel and we can pick up on more company branding.

The building is so interesting with the long tunnels and there is so much that can be done to lift the spaces and make them more interesting.

The boardroom and various offices also require a redesign, it is an exciting new project and we are looking forward to seeing the overall effect. We will keep updating photos of the progress on site, for more information about completed projects by Jossi Interior Design please go to our website... www.jossi.co.za

Apartment in Umhlanga Rocks

The Apartment in Umhlanga Rocks is progressing steadily with completion set for the end of June. The photo below shows the entrance feature wall in grey and silver riven stone.

The Kitchen is going to have high gloss acrylic doors imported from Germany. The kitchen is set to be white with a white caesar stone top. The client insisted on a brick feature wall in the kitchen at the position of the hob and extractor. This resulted in Justine and Jocelyn from Jossi Design going to Atomic Building suppliers to find old bricks from a demolished house. We had to dig out each brick that we wanted to ensure the client go the desired look.
Tiling is coming along slowly. They have now finished the floor tiles and are moving onto bathroom walls. We are very happy with the tiles chosen as they are going to give the apartment a modern look.

Mishi Jones' guys are hard at work skimming walls. In the background you can see some of the paint colour samples on the wall.
