Apartment at Westbrook Beach

The holiday apartment at Westbrook beach is complete. The final touch was added yesterday (Friday 24th April) and we managed to take some photos of the final result.

The Lounge makes use of various shades of green, and this is emphasised by the large artwork on the wall above the couch. The reading chair is accentuated by the tall freestanding lamp and glass side table with white vase.

The rug serves as the final touch adding texture and elegance to the lounge while also defining the space.

The lounge server floats on the wall to create an impression of space, this is combined with the silver framed mirror above which reflects the light in the room. The side TV unit is designed to work well with the floating server by using the same finishes in its design.

The Guest bedroom is restful and tasteful in design. The colours reflect the green from the lounge but these are more muted colours, which goes well with the dark wood of the bed and bedside pedestals. A unique mirror above the bed becomes a feature with the lamps and frames on either side of the bed adding a bit more interest.

The daughter's room is simple yet fun with the splashes of pink and the inspirational canvas artwork above the bunk beds.

As with the other furniture in the apartment, the dressing table was designed by Jossi Design, adding to the idea of 'fun' within this room. This unit is of white sprayed supawood with the back of the shelving painted in the pink colour we have used for the accessories within the bedroom.

The Main Bedroom is elegant and uses pale blues and silvers in the accent colours, which reflects the view of the sea from the sliding doors. It is a very relaxing interior, the fabrics used are luxurious which emphasises that this is the Main bedroom! Again mirrors above the bed have been used instead of artworks as this works very well with the accent colours.

The patio furniture is simple with the cushions and accessories used being shades of bright blue/ aqua colours. The white lantern adds some interest to the space and this rests on woven round ottomans which are stacked up but can be used as additional seating for childern.

The interior design of this apartment has been tremendous fun and we at Jossi Interior Design are very proud of the outcome.

Jossi Design Completes Box at Westmead Stadium fo the IPL

Jossi Interior Design has been extremely busy completing a renovation of an existing box at the Kingsmead Cricket Stadium.

Time was short and with the IPL (Indian Premier League) starting early this week we had alot to do. The photos are of the box in its original state when Jossi Design was briefed. Photos of the finished product will be published shortly as we were not able to get access to the suite on Tuesday due to the first game starting later in the day (obviously security at the stadium comes first).

Jossi Design is also working on the renovation of a corporate suite within Kingspark (ABSA) Stadium. We are very excited about these projects as sport is an important part of South African culture and we are glad to do our part - creating welcoming and exciting interiors that we can all enjoy.
